Here we have chosen three grasses, perfect for attracting birds into the garden. They can be fitted into the front of any border, added to pots or the stipas can add a more modern edge to part of the garden, by gently arching onto a path. Both stipas' seedheads will be attractive to finches, whilst the stipa tenuissima forms ideal nesting material.
The panicum chosen here, bears tiny seeds that are eaten by a variety of birds such as sparrows and bunting and as it remains upright during winter, it provides good cover for small birds.
All plants will be in 10.5cm pots and ready for immediate planting.
